The Griswold Home Christmas House is absolutely stunning
If you want to really light up our Christmas, then the National Lampoon Department 56 Griswold Holiday Home is for you. Let me begin by saying that the house is pretty large. It lights up very bright and people feel totally amazed when they realize that it is the Griswold home.
This one home is enough to add a whole new level of festivity to any home, and with all their lights working in such a wonderful way, it is almost too good.
There have been a few instances of the lights failing, but there is a no questions asked return policy in place, so you can always pack it right back to Amazon.
The house is hand crafted and designed by artists, and is made with metal. Plastic, dolomite and sisal. It has been carefully and beautifully hand painted to add that touch of authenticity. And just like in the movie, there are lights all over the house.
If you buy it, just remember that there is a button at the back of the house that lights it up in three different modes. So before you think the lights are not using, check out the button at the back and also read up the instruction properly.

This Mill House, is a hand crafted and hand painted porcelain house that we simply adore. It has the most delightful details, and is a part of the Dickens’ Village Series from Department 56. It depicts the Brandon Mill, which is a quaint house that stood on a dusty village road hundreds of years back. The miller would grind corn in the mill, and every detail of the house is lovely. There is a patch of snow on its roof and a water wheel over the stream. If only we could step into that world again.
In addition to the beauty of porcelain, it also lights up. It comes with an adapter cord to light up the tiny bulb inside the mill.
