Both of these are of very high quality and craftsmanship, and they are loved by all reviewers. The 6 piece Willow Tree nativity set has close to 3000 reviews and a rating of a perfect 5, the 28 piece has fewer reviews but none the less a rating of a perfect 5.
That says a lot about the quality, craftsmanship and overall brand qualities of Willow Tree. We feel that you will be very happy with either of these nativity sets if you choose them.
Willow Tree 6 Piece Nativity Set review
The Willow Tree Nativity Collection was introduced in 2000, and since then it has been a dearly loved and popular choice across the United States. The hand painted Nativity figures which are originally hand crafted by artist Susan Lordi are timeless classic that warms the heart and attracts appreciation from one and all. There is something about these simple yet exquisitely crafted figurines that make them really special.
The 6 piece Willow Tree Nativity set has elegant and beautiful figures and animals that bring live the awe and wonder of the Christmas Story. The set includes Mary holding the baby Jesus, Joseph, the girl holding a lamb, the donkey and two sheep. The tallest of the figures is 9.5 inches and each one of them is carefully hand painted.
The original figures and animals are hand carved by Susan Lordi in Kansas City, and added to the world famous, wonderful and expanding Willow Tree Nativity collection.
The six piece Willow Tree Nativity set is also a great Christmas gift or even a wedding gift. The wonderful thing about Willow Tree figures and sets is that they continue as a family tradition. Those who choose Willow Tree once, hardly ever go for any other Nativity collection.
Every verified buyer of the Willow Tree Nativity set is not just delighted by it, but positively adores it. The figurines are beautiful and delicate, and add so much more to the wonderful Christmas Story. One buyer has a very great tip. She says that if you are planning to use the Nativity Set for the holidays, then you should keep the original packaging and foam, She had broken a Joseph figurine once by wrapping it in paper. Even when you open the nativity set the instructions are to take out the Joseph figurine very carefully as the staff and the hand is very delicate. This is something that one should take care of. BY keeping the original packaging and foam, you will be able to repack all the figures and animals (incidentally they also have very finely made and delicate ears) back safely and securely, so that you can bring them out in perfect condition the next year. Of course most people keep adding to their Willow Tree Nativity collection every year.
